Delete your account & data
You can permanently delete your DonzHit account and the content you submitted. There are two ways to request deletion.
Option 1 — In the app (immediate)
- Open the DonzHit app and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Data, tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app, email privacy@donzhit.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We fulfill verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and sign-in (authentication) data.
- Your submitted incident reports — removed from the public feed and deleted from our database (including any associated AI summary and search-index entries).
- Your DONZ Talk posts — removed from public view, along with their comments.
- Your reactions and comments on other content.
What may be retained
Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before permanent erasure. We may retain a minimal record (such as an audit log entry) where required to comply with legal obligations. Videos you or a moderator uploaded to YouTube before deletion are subject to YouTube's own terms; we make reasonable efforts to remove them but cannot guarantee removal within a specific timeframe.
